An epic, a saga, maybe some day a folk song?
Learning is contagious and happy to be part of the chorus.
May you see the good in others,
and they see the good in you.
I did enjoy the calendar and thank you for your effort. I absolutely loved the pictures each day and would love to know where you found them. The animals look so kind and loving towards each other even though they are different species. How I wish people could be the same way…be kind and caring to one another even though we are not the same.
I made the pictures with ChatGPT and a lot of puzzling together in photoshop :)
Mit leuchtendem Hörnchen – When I sought a translation for “Hörnchen” it translated it as “Croissant”
Yup, we have for instance “Mohnhörnchen” which is a German style croissant with poppy seeds. Makes sense, because a croissant looks a bit like a horn.
Vielen Dank!
Thank you dear teacher and friend! I love this “advent tradition” every year.
Thanks Emanuel! Merry Christmas and happy new year!
Thanks Emanuel! Merry Christmas and happy new year!
Geez…that was great! Emmanuel reminds us the importance of art, connection, poesie, and Stollen.
The ChatGpt analysis was pure gold: sounds like me trying to write a high-end book report, in my overblown pompous “budding 12 yr old intellectual ” voice.
Don’t even need a coat to go out anymore, cuz this warmed my heart.
I wouldnt be able to get here without your help.
Thank you!
Das Gedicht war fantastisch! Vielen Dank fuer alle deine Arbeit bei der Zusammenstellung…und fuer deinen super Adventkalendar. Frohe Weihnachten und Alles gute ins neue Jahr!
Wunderbar! Ich weine Tränen der Freude. Das Gedicht war eine großartige Idee! Und der ChapGPT Bewertung? Einfach genial. Frohe Weihnachten!
Hi Emanuel
It’s my first time following a ritual like this- The Language Ritual. Used to check my mail for the newsletter, EVERYDAY!!
and today, when you concluded this segment so beautifully. I feel proud of my efforts too
In der suche nach Lebendigkeit, umgeben von der Stille. (my comment, heheh)
Es tastet im Schnee, nach seiner Brille.
und dann denkt es “Ach Nein!”
Und lädt alle Freunde ein.
Und zusammen feiern sie Weihnachten,
mit Wein
und Bier
und ganz viel Gesang.
Von dem der ganze Wald erklang
Sehr danke dir, thank you very much for all the efforts you put in, it does make German easy peasy :) except the relative clause, not easy :(
Frohe Weihnacten und ein glückliches neues Jahr.
Bis bald im Jahr 2025 !
Was für ein tolles Gedicht! Schade, dass ich nicht mitmachen konnte. Frohe Weihnachten und vielen Dank, Emanuel! Ich freue mich auf YDG im Jahr 2025.
I love the collaborative Xmas poem and the ChatGPT addition! Thank you for your beautiful work in creating community and curiosity. Frohe Weihnachten!
Wow, I think this poem has actually helped me understand ChatGPT a bit better :p
Schöne Feiertage und ein glückliches neues Jahr!
Just Wow!
Wow (auf Deutsch)
Das ist total geil!
