  1. thats the first time i see a disclaimer in a blog… is it really nececery?

    • In Germany you need to have a disclaimer even for your Facebook page as soon as it is not private. And there’s a whole business built around fining people for stupid shit like the lack of an FB-disclaimer. I kid you not, people did have to pay a fine because the company-page of their one man business had no disclaimer… just to make sure… it is NOT the government who does it. It is law firms who earn their money by scouring the web and sending out stock fine letters.
Anyway… I gave it some thought and essentially I was thinking better save than sorry. I just can’t afford to pay 400 Euro for such nonsense.

  2. shit man…

  3. I would be willing to donate to your site if you would indicate where I can purchase the BOOK, not Kindle edition, “German Men Sit Down to Pee.” Are you able to do this? Mark A Bauer P.S. Like your stuff!

  4. Some years ago I bought in Germany a series of very humerous, strictly colloqial dialogs between father and son entitled
“Papa…Charly hat gesagt.” I understand that these dialogs were available in audio and transmitted over German radio.
If so, I would love to purchase a set of these dialogs in audio format, as these would be indispensible for my aural comprehension. which is my greatest stumbling block, which I’m sure I share with many other students.
