Need more freedom and cheese. Need to stay away from sleep and pigs.
Great blog. Just joined. Headed to Germany this summer (Berlin and environs) and am hoping to revive my ancient memories of High school German class so I can talk to people in bars…. :)
Offf… you’ll find that people in bars will talk English to you all the time :D. Try to find a “Kneipe” , that’s basically the same as a bar, just that it’s been around longer, is cheaper and the people are older and actually from Berlin :)
Danke! Es klingt wahr. Was ich brauche für 2020 Freiheit und Spaß. Was ich vermeiden müssen: Wein und Tod. (maybe these last two are related.
Ich habe gefundet (ich brauche):
sex
frieheit
Deutsch
wein
vegan
Vielleicht diese hat recht!!!!
Camille
Natürlich hat das Orakel recht :)!
hahahah what I need Präfix und Verb, what I need less Feier und Urlaub…no coincidence!! Viele Danke! Frohe Weihnachten!
Ich habe diese wörter ´´verb und sex´´ gefunden. ich denke, dass ich nur Deutschspareche konzentrieren muss :))
Hi!
My first ‘finding’ was ‘schlafen’ – I don’t know how deep the real meaning for 2020 is hidden in this word, but it is slightly worrying.. LoL…
That just means you need to sleep more. More what did you find?
Believe me, Emmanuel. Ich schlafe fast neun Stunden!
BTW, I found more than 23 words, not counting Pass (because of Spass) and Port (because of Sport) and there are 25. Or don’t präfixverb and dativ count? Anyway, it was quite a fun. Thank you!!!
Es sagt, dass ich weniger deutsch brauchen :(
Weniger ist manchmal mehr! Das Orakel ist weise!
Liebe
I need more Vegan and Bier and less Bucht and Badewanner. I´m gonna read it as if I need less booked, not less bays =)
Vegan and beer is already on the menu. Not sure if I would need more of it.
WIsh I would have found more Käse and elss Netflix a bit faster. =)
Hilfe bitte. I can’t find the link to the PDF. :(
I’d like to print it and take it to our next Stammtisch.
You mean of the article? I didn’t create one because the image would be missing. Can you browser print, maybe?
OK. Can do.
The first two were “Sport” and “Vegan.” I may need them, but I don’t want them. The second two were “Netflix” and “Käse,” both of which I need greatly. :D
The oracle doesn’t tell you what you want, but what is good for you. You should listen!
On an unrelated note… I just got a Netflix account. Any recommendations for shows?
I stopped at 24 words :)
Why? You were so close to getting them all.
hmm Freiheit und Sex – happy xmas to me!
Hooray! You won at oracle!
die ersten 2 Wörter: Käse und Streit (ich bin laktose-intolerant und hasse Streit)
die nächsten 2 Wörter: Sport & Wein (ich liebe Sport und Wein)
Gott! was soll ich denn damit machen!!!
Everything you desire is outside of your comfort zone. Confront cheese and dispute and overcome it. Leave the cozy haven of sport and wine. When we talk again at the end of 2020, you will be a new person.
More sleep and cheese and less book and dispute! Not sure how that works when Cheese keeps you awake and I make my living printing books! I could do with fewer disputes though. Happy Christmas
You can print them, you don’t have to read them for that. Cold publishing… a new trend from the US. 100.000 copies shipped without anyone ever reading the thing before. A mystery box in book form.
As for the cheese and sleep: Pretty sure that’s a myth :)
Apparently I need more Käse and Präfixe in my life. Living in France, I’m sure that there is more than enough of the former in my life and there is definitely too much of the latter in German! I agree though that I should continue to stay away from the horrors of sport, as I have done since I left school: I still think that all the walking (lots) that I do is enough exercise. However, I am rather reluctant to give up my Freiheit. Thank you for the amusement Emanuel. It has taken my mind off the funny noise my computer has started to make this morning!
Giving up freedom is important for a relationship. The oracle is telling you that someone really special will come into your life, or you will go the next step with someone you already have.
And I assume you suck at prefix verbs, so you need to study them more!
And no… more cheese means more. Eat more and see what happens :D
freiheit and schlafen I need more of but I should stay away from vegan and netflix
Given my son’s very lovely German girlfriend is vegan I’m afraid that’s advice I may not follow!
This was fun, especially your comment that “It facilitates the refocusing of your soul energy.” Great stuff!
Hmmm… maybe you need to unvegan her. That’s your mission. Make her eat that sweet sweet butter.
First two: Spass, Freicheit; second two: Sport, Deutsch! :D Wird spannend! :D
‘Freiheit, Netflix, feiern, Deutschwein for me.
I’m not sure about number 2 – never used Netflix, and don’t think I want to. But why should I cut out feiern and Deutsch Wein!
Actually, it’s two words, Deutsch and Wein.
Have you been partying a little too much in 2019, maybe? or maybe you’ll get loads of party invitations in 2020 and the oracle wants you to not go :).
