Advent Calendar 1 – We’re so back

OMG, it’s happening!
December has started, advent season has started. And those of you who have been with me for  a while already know what that means.
But I have to say… this year, it’s not going to be what you expect.

It will not be a normal Advent Calendar.
It will be an ADVANCE COOLENDER.
Hell yeah, lesss gooooooo!!
“So does that mean it’ll be an Advent Calendar, after all?!”
Yeah… I was just kidding. It’s exactly the same concept, but I really feel like this year’s calendar might be the bestest and most interesting yet.

If you’re new to this – during Advent season, I’ll do one little post per day and it’s going to be a great mix of things.
There will be quizzes, some nice colloquial nuggets, some useful vocabulary, some common mistakes you might have been making, some German culture stuff, a give-away, a surprise and much more.

If you’re subscribed to my newsletter, you’ll get the link to the new post everyday, but you’ll also be able to find the calendar right on the homepage. I’ll put it up there within the next few days.

And the best thing is… it’s free!
I have thought about changing that this year, because it’s actually a lot of work, and there’s always the option for you to get a scholarship account, if you can’t afford a membership.
But in the end, I decided to leave it open in good faith and to respect the Christmas spirit of giving.

So yeah… even if you’re not a member, you’ll be able to read the calendar posts every day. Marking, note taking and language switching is still premium only though :)

Anyway, so yeah. It’s back, better than ever!

Oh and one more thing… like I said, I will be sending an email every day! I know how annoying it can be to get newsletters from a site every day, if I don’t feel like reading them. If you feel that way, please do not report me as spam out of a moment of frustration. Just unsubscribe.
It’s not that many people do this, but it did happen a few times last year and the mailing service shuts down service pretty much IMMEDIATELY and then tells me to “review my list”. So then, no one gets any emails and I have a lot of annoying work to do.
