wow an article on Staub!

Ok so my question is about the plural.

In english dust is plural. For a single bit of dust you’d say “a bit of dust” or something like that.
I guess you could say “dusts” if you were talking about different kinds of dust or something but I think this i really uncommon.

So i see German also has a plural but i have the impression that the singular is, like english, not refering to a single fleck of dust. Am i correct and if so how do i say “bit of dust” please?

Absolutely I did yeah. I never went to Staub but i heard reports from people i’ve chatted to about the Berlin club scene. I like the concept that the djs aren’t on the poster , the idea of faceless djs etc. i also think its a good name for a techno party. I’ve been to About Blank a couple of times like 9, 8 or so years ago or so… was ok but lets just say that place is not my thing….
