What about sowie?
dictionaries suggest it is very common, but is it just sowieso abreviated?
If not is it a synonym for sobald?
thanks
It’s not a short version of “sowieso”.
I wouldn’t call it “very common” either, not sure what the dictionaries are going by there.
It can mean “as well as” and also “as soon as”. In that sense, it’s pretty much a synonym for “sobald” indeed.
But I never use “sowie” in daily life.
