("jemanden erschrecken" - the ge-form is "erschreckt", officially, but people mix them up more and more. The preterit is "erschreckte".)

maybe write an article about this verb? I’m always confused, should I use erschreckt or erschrocken. I found some articles on the subject and it seems to be quite a complex case :)
