rein, herein

Based on: *(s)krei-
Goethe A2 Adverb Prefix
1.

inside, into, inward

Opposite: raus, heraus
(As a direction/destination. Super common as a prefix, but it also works by itself. The stationary counterpart is "drin". The longer 'herein' does NOT always fit, so think of 'rein' as the default and 'herein' as the variant.)
Examples
  • Komm bitte rein!
  • Please come in!
