(For bagging groceries or wrapping a present.)
Opposite (closest): auspacken

to pack, to take with you
(The focus is on adding an item to the things you take with you. Can be about luggage but also just putting something into your backpack for the day.)
3.
to pack up, to go home
(Colloquial term for the idea of getting to the point where you have pretty much lost some sort of competition. Usually used in the phrasing "einpacken können".)
