I know this question is kinda lame, but anyway,

can “überarbeiten” also mean to revise, in the sense “of double checking, making sure something has no mistakes”.
Like for example, “I have to revise my speech before the meeting.”

Or is it only in the sense of reworking something, having a mistake in your work and having to redo it.
For example, you just remembered you used the wrong dates in your report or something, and now you have to redo it.
