I’ve not really looked into this but I was thinking about how “muscle” seems to be a mass noun in english.

Like saying someone has “packed on a lot of muscle”

I’d probably use the plural “muscles” to describe different muscle groups “lats, traps, quads hams” etc

Any thoughts on this?

Now I’m intrigued what channels you like… Are there any decent german language fitness chanels? The only german one i know is Calimove (from Leipzig) although their stuff is in english …

love deadlifts. I do a mixture of calithenics, hiit and lifting and if i had to keep just one lift it my routine it would be the deadlift. I also have been enjoying doing power cleans recently although yeah my technique is not so amazing…

My strongest is dumbbell bench press, but I suck at barbell bench for some reason.

Interesting…I’m actually kind of intrigued by why this is…

I rarely bench so no pretty much no idea.. that said: 60 vs 70 kg…
10 killos can make a lot of difference for some movements.. Like, the difference between 4 reps and no reps for my strict press is about 5 or so kg…
