Just came accross
“Arbeitsniederlegung” in my text book

At first it seems a bit counter intuitve. I would have guessed it was a synonym for Niederlegung (resignation), but i guess it’s like resignation/or putting down of the work itself …. resulting in the concept of work stoppage (strike)
