to crease, to bend, to fold
(The core idea is bending something small and thin, so that there's a corner (not a curve). Think of a piece of paper or a straw, for example. )
2.
to forget, to call off
(Colloquial way of saying that something is not going to happen. The phrasing is usually "etwas knicken können", with "können" taking the conjugation.)
