1. to behave, to comport ("sich+Acc verhalten" - works for people and devices. Very similar to "benehmen", but that one only works for people.)
2. to be the deal with (Only in the somewhat fixed phrasing "wie verhält es sich mit", with [x] usually being an object, not a person. Sounds a bit technical.)
