Meanings

1.
to fold
(Mainly used for paper. NOT for clothes, and also not for a folding chair. "zusammenklappen" is more fitting there.)
Opposite (closest): auseinanderfalten
2.
to scold, to give someone a telling off
(Colloquial term - think of me... uh... I mean, some manager berating an intern because the cappuccino is too hot. )
