Shaving, waxing, peeling – the proper counters to today’s word :)

***

behaaren

A verb like a promise to many balding men. But no matter how much caffeine you put into your shampoo – you cannot really actually put hair where there’s to be none and so the itself is never used. Only the ge-form is – for hairy chests, backs, shoulders, feet – everything except the head. Genes, they’re ironic sometimes.
unbehaart – without hair
die Körperbehaarung – the body hair

  • Thomas legt sich an Maria’s stark  behaarte Brust.
  • Thomas lays his head on Maria’s super hairy bre… wait a second…. EWWWW

Thank you so much, I’ll check my safesearch next time :-D . One more question, can you do a lesson on the idiomatic uses of “dabei” and “dazu”, like “da ist nichts dabei”. I couldn’t find anything comprehensive about that eventhough they’re all over the place.
Lol I thought it was spelt like that in German. An older spelling in English is “Lybia” which looks weird.

Hi Emannuel, Im a big fan of ur blog. I was wondering what kind of intensifier is commonly used with behaarte, because when I tried searching for “stark behaarte” I got nothing. And for that matter I was windering if you knew any good resource to learn the collocation of intensifiers and adjectives/adverbs in German. Grüss aus Lybien :-D
