Hi ihr lieben, der Mai ist fast vorbei, aber wir haben noch eine Episode Grammatik-Mai übrig. Eigentlich mehr, und ich werde immer mal wieder über einen Begriff sprechen. Aber nächste Woche machen wir auf jeden Fall was anderes :).
Vielleicht eine Übung, vielleicht ein cooles neues Tool, oder vielleicht ein Wort - ich entscheide spontan.

Die meisten von euch kennen den Begriff, und die meisten können sofort ein Beispiel geben. Aber ich glaube, fast niemand kann beschreiben, was Artikel eigentlich machen, und ob wir sie brauchen. |
Das finden wir heute raus, und dann meckere ich noch ein bisschen über Grammatik-Terminologie und Lehrmaterial, denn da ist ziemliches Chaos :).

But today, we'll again look at a grammar terms, namely the article.
Most of you know the term and most of you can give an example right away. But I think almost no one can describe what articles actually do and whether we need them or not.
That's what we'll find out today, and then I'll go on a little rant about grammar terminology and teachning material, because there's quite the chaos.

Oh, one little disclaimer: the article will NOT be about the specifics of German articles, like the endings and so on. It's about the CONCEPT of articles in general across languages. Just wanted to mention that so you know what to expect.
