|  | Hi ihr lieben, wie geht's, wie steht's? Ich hoffe, ihr hattet eine schöne Woche. Meine war gut, und ich habe ein "Projekt" gemacht, dass ich schon lange vorhatte: ich bin auf dem Tempelhofer Feld joggen.
Ich wohne ja in Berlin, und wir haben fast in der Mitte der Stadt einen stillgelegten Flughafen. Das ist jetzt ein riesiges freies Feld für Freizeit. Man kann auf den Landebahnen laufen und es ist einfach unglaublich wieviel Platz da ist. Perfekt zum Radfahren, Kite-Skateboarden oder Rollerbladen.

How are you? I hope you had a great week. Mine was nice, and I did a "project" that I had been planning on doing for a long time: I went for a run at Temperhofer Feld.
As many of ya'll know, I live in Berlin and pretty much in the middle of the city, we have a retired airport. That is now a gigantic field for leisure. You can walk on the runway and it's sheer unbelievable how much space there is. Perfect for biking, kite skateboarding or rollerblading. |
Um das Feld herum ist eine breite Bahn, wo die Flugzeuge früher zu den beiden Landebahnen gefahren sind, ungefähr 5 Kilometer für eine Runde, und ich wollte schon immer mal da laufen. Und letzte Woche habe ich es gemacht und es war mega interessant. Irgendwie bleibt die Zeit stehen, während man da läuft. Ich mache das auf jeden Fall bald wieder, und wenn ihr irgendwann mal in Berlin seid, müsst ihr euch Tempelhof auf jeden Fall angucken.

around the field, there's a wide lane where planes used to roll to the runway back in the day, around 5 Kilometer for one round, and I have always wanted to go for a run there. And last week, I did it and it was super interesting. Somehow time halts while you're running there. I'll definitely do that again soon, and if you're in Berlin at some point, you definitely have to check out Tempelhofer Feld.

Aber nicht eurer Heimatstadt erzählen, sonst wird sie eifersüchtig, und macht Drama: "Dann zieh doch nach Berlin, wenn da so toll ist."
"Nein, nein Berlin ist super dreckig, ich verlasse dich nicht, Heimatstadt." aber das glaubt eure Heimatstadt natürlich in dem Moment nicht, denn Eifersucht macht blind.

But don't tell your home city, or else it'll get jealous and starts drama: "Well, then why don't you move to Berlin if it's so amazing there."
"No, no, Berlin is super dirty, I'm not gonna leave you, hometown."
But your hometown of course won't believe you, because jealousy makes you blind.
