Ich hatte ja im letzten Newsletter gesagt, dass ich auf ein Festival fahre. Das war dieses Wochenende und es war SUPER. |
| Das Festival heißt at.tension und es ist ein Theater-, Zirkus- und Musikfestival. |
Ich habe echt viel beeindruckende Kunst gesehen - Hochseilartistik, Handpuppentheater, Straßen-Performances, Clowns, Akrobatik und Jonglage.
Und natürlich auch ordentlich Party ;).
Und das Gelände selber ist auch sehr cool. Es ist ein sehr berühmten Festival-Gelände in der Nähe von Berlin (die Fusion) und da gibt es überall kleine Sachen zu entdecken - Lichter, Feuer, Kunst und ein 7 Meter langer Kickertisch, wo 20 Leute gleichzeitig mit vier Bällen spielen... megalustig.

As you might remember, I said in the last newsletter, that I was going to go to a festival. That was last weekened and it was amazing.
The festival is called at.tension and it's a theater, circus and music festival.
I've seen a lot of really impressive art - tight rope acrobatics, hand puppet theater, street performances, clowns, acrobatics and juggling.
And of course some proper partying ;). |
And the venue itself is also really cool. It's a famous festival are near Berlin (Fusion) and there are loads of small things to discover - lights, fire, art and a 7 meter long foosball table, where 20 people play at the same time with 4 balls... super fun.

Und was auch jedes mal beeindruckend ist (ich bin zum dritten Mal da), ist die Organisation. Alles funktioniert, alle Toiletten sind immer sauber und haben Toilettenpapier und es gibt Seife (ja, unglaublich, oder?), die Essensstände sind so effizient und schnell, als wäre es McDonalds, überall ist Trinkwasser, nirgendwo liegt Müll.
Und das coole ist... fast alles sind freiwillige Helfer. Das Festival ist Non-Profit, und niemand verdient damit Geld. Und es funktioniert trotzdem alles besser, als kommerzielle Festivals.
Ich finde es echt schön zu sehen, wie die Sachen funktionieren können, wenn alle Menschen zusammen für eine gute Sache arbeiten, und dass es nicht immer "kapitalistischen Optimierungsdruck" braucht, damit die Dinge effizient sind.

And the cool thing is... almost all people are volunteers. The festival is non-profit and no one makes money from it. And still, everything works better than on commercial festivals.
I find it really nice to see how well things can work if all people work together for a good cause, and that there doesn't always have to be "capitalist optimization pressure" in order for things to be efficient.

Die nächste at.tension ist in zwei Jahren, und ich kann dieses Festival echt nur empfehlen.

Zeit für das Thema von heute, und das ist das Verb "sein".
Aber nicht einfach die Bedeutung. Die kennt ihr auch alle.
Heute geht es um die Praxis: wir üben heute alle wichtigen Formulieren mit "sein", die man als Anfänger braucht.
Und wir machen das, indem wir richtige Sätze bilden und... sie laut sagen.
Denn heute ist mal wieder Zeit für die epische EF Sprach-AI :).

The next at.tension will be in two years, and I can really recommend this festival.
Cool. But now enough of that :).
Time for today's topic and that is the verb "sein".
But not just simply the meaning. You all know that.
Today will be about the practical side: we'll practice all important phrasings with "sein" that you need as a beginner.
And we'll do it by creating proper sentences and... saying them out loud.
Because today it's once again time for the epic EF speech AI.

So... if you want to learn important phrasings intuitively and at the same time improve your pronunciation a bit, then this is just the right thing for you.
