Mein Heuschnupfen, von dem ich euch letzte Woche erzählt habe, ist deutlich besser, und ich kann endlich wieder ordentlich Sport machen. Das ist super, und das brauche ich auch, denn ich bin ein bisschen gestresst. |
Die Wohnung in der ich seit 10 Jahren wohne, wurde verkauft, und der neue Eigentümer will selber rein. Jetzt muss ich eine neue suchen.

My hay fever I told you about last week has gotten much better, and I can finally do proper sports. That's great and I do need that , because I am a little stressed.
The apartment in which I have been living for 10 years has been sold and the new owner wants to move in himself. Now I have to find something new.

Das ist auch okay, denn es war eh Zeit zu gehen. Aber der Markt in Berlin ist überhaupt nicht einfach, und als Selbstständiger wird man von Vermietern überhaupt nicht gerne gesehen. Die wollen alle immer eine angestellte Person mit unbefristetem Arbeitsvertrag. Und sowas wie was ich mache, mit internationalen Sales und so - da legen viele die Bewerbung direkt auf den "Nein"-Stapel.

That is okay, too, as it was time to leave anyway. But the market in Berlin is not easy at all, and as a self employed person you're not really welcome by many landlords. They always want an employed person with an unlimited contract. And something like what I am doing, with international sales and so on - many put the application straight onto the "no"-pile.

Also ja... ich bin aktuell echt viel mit diesem Wohnungskram beschäftigt, und deshalb brauche ich Sport, als Ausgleich :).

Das ist eine der Optionen für "to send" aber es gibt auch "senden" und "verschicken", "abschicken", "rausschicken", "zuschicken" und mehr. Und die sind auch alle "to send" ... Djöömän häz dann it ägän :).

That is one of the options for "to send" but there's also "senden" and "verschicken", "abschicken", "rausschicken", "zuschicken" and more. And those are also all "to send"... German has done it again :)
