Nach einem echten Party-Wochenende, war ich die letzten Tage ein bisschen krank, und ich habe zum ersten Mal in meinem Leben einen Flug verpasst. Scheiß-BER. Die Schlange für den Security Check ging über zwei Etagen und bestimmt 400 Meter lang. Irgendein Streik. Ich war dann im Endeffekt mit Rennen 10 Minuten vor Abflug am Gate. Und es war zu.
Und das Ding ist, normalerweise ist bei Ryan-Air das Gate 10 Minuten vor Abflug voll mit Menschen. Aber nicht dieses Mal.

After a proper party weekend, I have been a little sick the last few days and for the first time in my life, I have missed a flight. F**** BER Airport. The queue for the security check in was for two floors and probably 400 meters long. Some strike or something.
In the end, I was at the boarding gate 10 minutes before plane departure. And it was closed. And the thing is - usually with Ryan-Air, the gate is full of people 10 minutes before departure. But not this time. |
Ich war nicht der einzige. Wir waren insgesamt sieben. Aber die Mitarbeiter da meinten "Wir können nichts machen, die Entscheidung, das Boarding zu schließen, ist in Dublin bei der Ryanair-Zentrale, und wenn wir wegen sowas anrufen, werden wir gefeuert."
Ich glaube, das war alles gelogen, und sie hatten einfach keine Lust auf die Extraarbeit.
So ein Zirkus.

I wasn't the only one. We were 7 in total. But the employees there said "We can't do anything, the decision to close boarding is made in Dublin at the Ryan-Air headquarter and we'll be fired if we call about something like this.
I think all of this was a lie and they just didn't want the extra work

Ich bin jetzt einen Tag später geflogen und da gab es keine Schlangen. Und natürlich waren wir 10 Minuten vor Abflug immer noch am Gate und nicht im Flugzeug, so wie es eigentlich bei Ryan-Air normal ist. Und 10 Minuten NACH Abflugzeit übrigens auch, denn wir hatten Verspätung.

I now flew one day later, and there were no queues. And of course, we were all still at the gate 10 minutes before departure, as is custom with Ryan-Air. Oh and 10 minutes after departure time as well, by the way, because we were delayed.

Naja, jetzt bin ich in Sofia und habe 13 Stunden geschlafen und das war genau was ich gebraucht habe nach den letzten Tagen. Party und so. Unter anderem Cari's Geburtstag. Das war sehr cool, und es gab viel zu trinken.

Oh well, now I am in Sofia and I slept for 13 hours and that was exactly what I had needed after the last few days. Party and so on. Cari's birthday among other things. That was nice and there was a lot to drink.
